1. Phép cộng là gì?

Phép cộng hay còn được biết đến là phép tính tổng, kết quả của việc cộng các đại lượng hay các số với nhau. Một tổng luôn chứa một số nguyên tương ứng.

Còn trong toán học, tính tổng chính là phép cộng của dãy số bất kỳ được gọi là số cộng (số hạng) còn kết quả là tổng. Bên cạnh việc cộng số thì cũng có thể thực hiện phép tính này với vectơ, hàm, đa thức, ma trận,…

Ký hiệu phép cộng là “+”.
